In fact, the oblique carbide grooving insert is usually used by fewer customers, but it also has its unique characteristics and has a place in the market.
It uses a beveled blade to reduce cutting force and friction, so it is more suitable for cutting hard materials such as and high-speed steel. This tool is excellent at cutting materials of complex shapes, but because of its bevel design, it may not be suitable for cutting softer materials such as aluminum, as it may leave burrs on the cuts.

We always produce EDC grooving carbide insert with PVD coating, below is the two grade which we are produce.

• JA2525: General grade for milling inserts and drills. The materials suitable for processing are the same with JA2025, little harder than JA2025. When the working condition is very good, you can choose this grade because its cutting life is longer.
