Product Information
Carbide APMT PVD Coated inserts are commonly used for indexable square shoulder end milling cutters and face milling cutters. The APMT inserts are with precision-molded I.C., positive molded chip breaker. They have a sharp and honed cutting edge and 11° relief angle. They are with screw holes created in compliance with ISO. Typically, it is viewed as with 2 cutting edges. However, they actually have 4 cutting edges. when they are installed on 90° indexable milling cutters and both edges become dull, they can be installed on 75° indexable milling cutters  and continue other milling applications with the other two edges.APMT will be a great choice for end users, since it can significantly improve productivity.

APMT milling insert with strong geometry design enables to deal with steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and cast iron.
How to choose the right Grade?
◆ Recommend Grade for APMT-DL Carbide insert:
We always produce APMT-DL milling carbide insert with PVD coating.
- JA2825: The consumption of this grade is the largest in stainless steel processing, and it has excellent performance in strength and wear resistance. 60% of stainless steel customers will choose this grade.
- JA2025: Suitable for cutting steel, stainless steel and cast iron, that is very general machining grade, suitable for many material. Because of its excellent strength and wear resistance, JA2025 is the most sold grade in milling inserts.
- JA2525: The materials suitable for processing are the same with JA2025, little harder than JA2025. When the working condition is very good, you can choose this grade because its cutting life is longer.
- JA2824: Suitable for M and S, Some precious metals were added, performance super excellent. The only disadvantage is that the price will be higher, if you want to replace high level carbide insert that is good grade.
- JA2006: That suitable for hard steel in milling insert, HRC40-HRC52 would be very good grade to choose.
- JH3525: A general grade that takes into account both wear resistance and toughness. Excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance, the first choice for semi-finishing of high termperature alloy.
